Idal companies are essentially trading and services firms. They are authorised distributors of several leading brands, both global and local ones. 

Idal provides customers with experience and expert knowledge in their fields of specialisation. Customers can count not only on professional pre-sales advice but also on the availability of spare parts, quick warranty repairs (by trained and authorised personnel, with approved spare parts), post-sales support and consulting, and post-warranty maintenance.

Idal Enterprise is specialising in container handling equipment and other related (marine industry) equipment. The firm however is also constantly investigating new business opportunities. These, once they are mature, will be spun-off as separate business entities, as was the case with Idal UMDS.

Idal UMDS is specialising in the welding industry. UMDS is a Polish acronym for "welding machines, materials and consulting". For a complete picture one should add also "services" to the acronym.
